Former Texas A&M linebacker Jurriente Davis has committed to play for Louisville, he announced via X on Saturday night. Not too many programs have been as active as the Cardinals in the NCAA transfer portal, adding another defensive piece.

Davis is quite the veteran when it comes to the portal, going through the process multiple times. This will be the linebacker’s fifth school, dating back to when he was at Hutchinson Community College during the 2019 and 2020 seasons.

Since then, Davis has played for Middle Tennessee State, Jackson State, Texas A&M, and will now suit up for Louisville this year. Quite the journey throughout the college world in what might be the craziest journey out there at the moment.

Davis played in just three games this past season, recording six tackles. Four of them came in the season opener against New Mexico and secured the other two a couple of weeks later against ULM. Louisville will be hoping for some more production out of the linebacker.
