Louisville transfer linebacker Jaylin Alderman set to visit Arkansas
Louisville linebacker transfer Jaylin Alderman will take an official visit to Arkansas on Wednesday, On3’s Chad Simmons has learned. Alderman is one of the top linebackers available in the NCAA transfer portal and is receiving interest from a few ACC programs.
Now, head coach Sam Pittman will have the opportunity to impress Alderman and potentially sell him on the idea of playing in the SEC.
Alderman was a key player for Louisville on defense during the 2023 season. He recorded 58 tackles, seven tackles for losses, and 1.5 sacks while starting every single game for the Cardinals.
But after three seasons, he is looking for a new home to wrap up his college football career. Arkansas is emerging as a real option. The official visit is set up and the Razorbacks already lead per the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine.
Arkansas needs some help at linebacker and despite landing a couple of guys, Pittman is still in the transfer portal looking. Snagging Alderman would be a great get for the position group in a critical season for the program.
Alderman played high school football at Valdosta (GA) High School, where he was a three-star prospect. He was the No. 131 overall player at his position in the 2021 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
Arkansas lands transfer commitment from LB Larry Worth III

Worth appeared in all 13 games this past season to finish with 63 tackles (six for loss), three sacks, one forced fumble and one interception. He’ll have two seasons of eligibility remaining.
Worth recorded a career-high 12 tackles and one sack in the New Orleans Bowl vs. Louisiana this past season. Standing 6-foot-4 and 210 pounds, he should provide some extra depth for Arkansas as they aim to improve a defense that finished 12th in the SEC in points allowed.
Worth played high school football at Baldwin High in Jacksonville, Florida. He was unranked in the 2022 cycle according to the On3 Industry Rankings, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
Larry Worth is the second transfer linebacker that Arkansas has brought in this offseason along with Xavian Sorey out of Georgia. The Razorbacks are relatively young at the position with second-year players Brad Spence and Carson Dean among others who should compete for time.
