LSU edge rusher Quency Wiggins commits to transfer to Colorado
LSU Tigers edge rusher Quency Wiggins committed to transfer to the Colorado Buffaloes. On3’s Hayes Fawcett initially reported the decision.
Wiggins spent two seasons with the Tigers. He played five games in his true freshman season in 2022 before playing in four games during the 2023 season. By only playing in four games this season, he was able to use a redshirt this season and not burn a year of eligibility. His potential made him a big name in the transfer portal and a huge addition to Colorado for Deion Sanders.
“Playing for Coach Prime is gonna mean a lot to me and my family,” Wiggins said.

In his nine career games, Quency Wiggins has seven total tackles, one of which was a tackle for a loss.
Wiggins played high school football at Madison Prep (Louisiana) Academy, where he was a four-star prospect. He was the No. 54 overall recruit in the 2022 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
