Maryland RB Ramon Brown enters the transfer portal

Maryland running back Ramon Brown has entered the transfer portal.

Brown spent two seasons with the Terrapins. In a dozen appearances, he rushed for 125 yards on 35 carries. He finished fifth on the team in rushing last season before playing in just one game in 2023 during a loss against Northwestern.

Brown played high school football at Manchester (VA) where he was a four-star prospect. He was the No. 289 overall recruit in the 2022 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He finished as a Top-25 RB as well as a Top-15 player out of Virginia in his class.
