Miami transfer TE Jaleel Skinner commits to Louisville
Louisville continues to bring in talent from the transfer portal. The Cardinals have picked up a commitment from Miami transfer tight end Jaleel Skinner, per On3’s Hayes Fawcett.
The Greer, South Carolina native transferred to Louisville after two seasons with the Hurricanes.
This past season, Jaleel Skinner appeared in only two games, catching one pass for 9 yards.
As a freshman in 2022, Skinner was a bigger part of the Miami offense. He played in nine games, with a pair of starts that season, catching nine passes for 129 yards and a touchdown.
Jaleel Skinner signed with Miami as a four-star recruit in the class of 2022. He was ranked as the No. 4 tight end and No. 106 overall player in the country coming out of high school, according to the On3 Industry rankings.
Prior to coming to Miami, Skinner spent his final season of high school football at IMG Academy in Florida.
He will join a Louisville team that reached the ACC championship game this past season in Year 1 under Jeff Brohm.
