Missouri in position to add former Miami cornerback Marcus Clarke

Missouri appears to be close to adding a new player to its defensive back group.

Ex-Miami cornerback Marcus Clarke, who went into the NCAA transfer portal August 19, is on campus at Missouri and the expectation is that he ends up transferring to the Tigers, sources tell On3.

Clarke, a Class of 2020 three-star signee, started four games for the Hurricanes last season.

The Winter Park, Florida native finished the year with 24 tackles and one interception. He played in five games for Miami as a freshman in 2020, posting five tackles and an interception.

Missouri, which is entering its third year under Eliah Drinkwitz, opens its season against Louisiana Tech Thursday night.
