Missouri Tigers defensive lineman Serigne Tounkara is planning to enter the NCAA Transfer Portal, Missouri assistant Brian Early revealed via social media.

Check out the post below. It’s evident that even though Tounkara is leaving the Tigers, he’s gained the respect of his coaches.

“Good young player, @SerigneT97 hitting the portal,” Early posted on X. “Buried a little in a talented room. Athletic, twitchy & has some natural pass rush ability. Great kid, good work ethic. Has 4 years. Hit me if you need more info.”

Tounkara played high school football at Clear Falls (TX) High School, where he was a three-star prospect. He was the No. 952 overall recruit in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Missouri, former Ole Miss wideout Dannis Jackson enters NCAA Transfer Portal

Moreover, Serigne Tounkara isn’t the only hit for Missouri in the portal, as Tigers and former Ole Miss wideout Dannis Jackson has entered the NCAA Transfer Portal, On3 has learned. Jackson, a class of 2019 recruit, will have at least one year of eligibility remaining.

Jackson spent just one season at Missouri, playing for the Tigers in 2023. He played in just five games for the Tigers. Over his career, Jackson has played in 34 games and caught 19 passes for 342 yards and two touchdowns.

A former four-star recruit, Jackson will likely have ample suitors in the portal.

Jackson played high school football at Sumrall (Miss.) High School, where he was a four-star prospect. He was the No. 164 overall recruit in the 2019 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
