Norfolk State forward Kuluel Mading enters NCAA Transfer Portal

Norfolk State forward Kuluel Mading tells On3 that he plans to enter the transfer portal. The 6-foot-10 junior earned MEAC 1st-Team All-Defense honors this season after averaging 7.2 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks.
Mading played his high school ball at Burlington (NC) School, where he earned All-State honors and a state championship as a senior. He started his college career at Buffalo, where he played in 13 games over two seasons.
Mading started 28 games this season, helping to lead Norfolk State to a MEAC championship and an NCAA Tournament birth. He got the start against Florida and grabbed five rebounds in the game. Mading is currently 25th in the MEAC block percentage (7.0) for his career.
