Houston set to host Oklahoma PG transfer Milos Uzan
Oklahoma transfer point guard Milos Uzan is expected to visit a Big 12 school this weekend, a source told On3.
The former four-star prospect and top-100 recruit in the 2022 class is expected to be at Houston this weekend. A Big 12 All-Freshman selection a year ago, he averaged nine points, 3.4 rebounds, and 4.4 assists per game this season.
The Cougars are coming off a 32-5 season, winning the Big 12 regular season title in their first year in the league. Both J’Wan Roberts and L.J. Cryer have announced they will return for another season. Houston head coach Kelvin Sampson needs a replacement for All-American and Defensive Player of the Year, Jamal Shead.
Milos Uzan could be the answer.
A team captain for the Sooners in 2023-24, he helped Oklahoma finish 20-12 in Year 3 of the Porter Moser era in Norman. Uzan worked his way into the starting lineup quickly as a true freshman and never left.

“He came in and earned a spot after seven or eight games,” Moser said this past fall. “And then I thought in conference plays, he averaged almost 9.0, 9.5 and I thought he grew and grew and grew this offseason. As good as I’ve been around in development. He’s up over 190. He came in at 170. He looks stronger. He’s playing with great pace. His shot looks better. His leadership was better. On every facet, I’m excited for his development.”
Houston ran through the Big 12 in 2023-24 but ultimately fell in the Elite Eight. Sampson clearly wants to get back to the Final Four for a crack at delivering the program its first national title.
