Oregon transfer CB Bryan Addison commits to UCLA
Oregon cornerback Bryan Addison has committed to UCLA as a transfer, he announced on social media on Tuesday evening. Addison has one year of eligibility remaining.
Addison originally would’ve used up his final year of eligibility in 2023, but only played in four games due to an injury and will get a medical redshirt. He used his original redshirt his freshman year in 2018, then got another free year in 2020 due to the pandemic. The 2024 season will be his seventh playing college football.
In 54 career games, Addison has four interceptions, all coming in the last few seasons. He had two and seven passes defensed in 12 games last season, the best of his career by a sizable margin.
Addison played high school football at Junipero Serra (Calif.) High School, where he was a three-star prospect. He was the No. 417 overall recruit in the 2018 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
