Former Clemson defensive lineman David Ojiegbe has made his decision after entering the transfer portal earlier this month. Ojiegbe has committed to Pitt, he announced on Twitter.

David Ojiegbe entered the portal following just one season with the Tigers. He appeared in two games this past season, seeing action against Charleston Southern and Florida Atlantic. In those two games, he played a total of 11 snaps and recorded zero stats.

He has four years of eligibility remaining as he arrives at Pitt. The 6-foot-4, 240-pound EDGE was considered one of the top players at his position coming out of high school. The On3 Industry rankings listed Ojiegbe as a four-star recruit, the No. 27 EDGE and the No. 280 overall player in the country in the class of 2023.

David Ojiegbe attended St. John’s College High prior to signing with Clemson. He helped his team to the WCAC title in each of his final two seasons. As a senior, he posted an impressive 50 tackles, 30 tackles for loss and 16 sacks.
