Austin Rapp is one of the top transfers in the portal after entering following his freshman season at Portland. Now, he has cut the list of his potential next programs down to five, including a majority of the interest in being in the Big Ten.

Rapp has cut his list of portal options down to Clemson, Iowa, Michigan, Oregon, and Wisconsin.

Rapp just finished his first college season spent with the Pilots. He, in his 31 appearances there, averaged 13.8 points (39.7% FG, 35.2% 3PT), 6.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.5 blocks per game as he was second in scoring and first in rebounds and blocks for Portland (12-20). He also had versatility with his size as a stretch option with 83 made threes this season, which was first in the West Coast Conference and was second among every freshman in the NCAA behind only Texas’ Tre Johnson. All that won him WCC Freshman of the Year and earned him a spot on the WCC All-Freshman Team.

With that, Rapp, per the latest in On3’s 2025 Top Transfer Portal Players, is at No. 35 overall. He’s also rated currently as the No. 9 PF in the portal.

Rapp is also one of three departures so far during this portal cycle for Portland. Max Mackinnon, their leading scorer this past season, and Todd Jones have also entered their names in to transfer elsewhere.
