Ranking the top players that entered the transfer portal on Wednesday
March 13 is the date players are able to enter the transfer portal without penalty. However, graduate transfers are able to transfer once their season is over. Monday was the first real day we saw some traction with the transfer portal picking up. While it felt like much more, in all, nine players actually submitted their names into the transfer portal on Monday, followed by seven on Tuesday, and ten on Wednesday.
To get ahead of things, I wanted to rank the top players who entered the transfer portal on Wednesday, March 8. It should be reiterated only graduate transfers entered the portal.

1. Joshua Cohen (St. Francis, PA)
Height/weight: 6-10/225
High school: Lincroft (NJ) Christian Brothers
2022-23 stats: 21.8 points, 8.3 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 58.5% FG
Notes: There was a lot of excitement surrounding Joshua Cohen when he put his name in the portal. The 6-foot-10 center from New Jersey is ninth in NCAA D-I in scoring this season. The NEC Player of the Year played travel ball with the Jersey Force program. He is currently the top prospect in the portal.
2. Evan Taylor (Lehigh)
Height/weight: 6-6/200
High school: Glen Ellyn (IL) Glebard West
2022-23 stats: 14.2 points, 6.5 rebounds, 43% 3P
Notes: Evan Taylor is originally from Glen Ellyn, Illinois, less than 45 minutes away from Chicago. The 6-foot-6 wing is a career 40.8 percent three-point shooter on 346 career attempts. The 6-foot-6 wing had light recruitment coming out of high and simply continued to improve all four years of college. He finished second-team All-Patriot this season after finishing fifth in scoring and sixth in rebounding.

3. Paxson Wojcik (Brown)
Height/weight: 6-4/185
High school: La Porte (IN) LaLumiere School
2022-23 stats: 14.9 points, 7.2 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.3 steals, 46.1% FG, 38.0% 3P
Notes: Paxson Wojick grew up in Charleston, South Carolina, before playing his last couple of high school seasons at LaLumiere School in Indiana. The lefty filled the stat line in the Ivy League this season en route to second-team All-Ivy League honors. Wojcik originally committed to Loyola-Chicago before transferring to Brown. He led the Ivy League in defensive rebounds this year and finished fourth in scoring.
4. Anthony Selden (Gardner-Webb)
Height/weight: 6-6/220
High school: Tilton (NH) Tilton School
2022-23 stats: 11.5 points, 4.4 rebounds, 48.3% FG.
Notes: Anthony Selden is originally from Lawrence, Kansas, and played travel ball with the Team Rush program. Formerly a football player, The 6-foot-6 wing finished top 20 in the Big South in points, blocks, and field goals made this season.
