Oregon State transfer wide receiver Silas Bolden entered the portal earlier this month and remains one of the top players still available.

A two-time, second-team All-Pac-12 selection as a return specialist, the 5-foot-8, 157-pound was one of the most explosive wideouts on the West Coast the past two seasons. He’s now ready to explore his options, with four visits scheduled over the rest of the month.

Bolden tells On3 that he will be at Texas this weekend. With Xavier Worthy, Adonai Mitchell and Jordan Whittington leaving for the NFL draft, the Longhorns have prioritized the wide receiver position in the transfer portal. Bolden has tallied 80 catches for 1,076 yards and nine touchdowns in his career. He’s also contributed in the rushing game, posting 21 carries for 202 yards and four touchdowns.

Following his trip to Austin, the receiver is scheduled to be at Arizona on Jan. 19 and Washington on Jan. 20. The Wildcats already have their quarterback in Noah Fifita, adding Bolden would be another weapon in the passing attack. Washington will have a new quarterback in 2024 in transfer Will Rogers. The Huskies are expected to lose a few starting receivers to the NFL, too.

The Oregon State transfer is set to finish out his official visit schedule with a trip to USC. The Trojans have lost a pair of wideouts in Michael Jackson III and Dorian Singer to the portal, plus Tahj Washington is off to the NFL.

Silas Bolden will be on the move these next few weeks before making a decision.
