Donovan Westmoreland, who just finished his sophomore season at South Carolina, is headed to Kennesaw State after committing out of the transfer portal.

Westmoreland shared his announcement that he’d be joining the Owls in a post on social media on Sunday.

Westmoreland saw action in a handful of games over his pair of seasons in Columbia.

Westmoreland played high school football at Griffin (GA) where he was a three-star prospect. He was the No. 452 overall recruit in the 2022 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He finished as a Top-50 LB as well as a Top-50 player out of the state of Georgia in his class
