Miami (Ohio) wide receiver Gage Larvadain has been contacted by more than 20 schools since officially entering the transfer portal on Tuesday.

One of the most popular names available in college football’s free agency, some of the nation’s top programs have either offered or expressed interest in the Mid-American Conference’s leading receiver this season.

Larvadain told On3 on Friday he’s been in contact with Michigan State, Ole Miss, Houston, Baylor, Memphis, Tulane, California, Minnesota, Marshall, Mississippi State, Arkansas, Louisiana Tech, South Carolina, Tennessee, Louisville, Auburn, Miami, Kentucky, Indiana, James Madison, Duke, Washington and UCF.

The wide receiver began his collegiate journey at Southeastern Louisiana, where he recorded over 1,200 receiving yards over two seasons before deciding to transfer. With the guidance sent to schools by the NCAA last week, fall athletes who decided to transfer will be allowed to immediately play in 2024-25 academic year without securing a waiver. Larvadain led Miami in received yards this season, averaging 16.2 yards per catch with six touchdowns.

Gage Larvadain is starting to craft his official visit schedule, too. The receiver told On3 that he will visit Tulane from Jan. 3 to 4 before spending Jan. 5 to 7 at South Carolina. The Green Wave is looking to fill a void at wideout with wide receiver Chris Brazzell committed to Tennessee. South Carolina also has a major hole, with Juice Wells leaving for Ole Miss.
