Spring football practices across the country are in their final leg as programs put together the last few practices and spring games before their summer vacations. With practices winding down, the second transfer portal window is opening up, and some players across the country are turning to it to find a new home, such as Stanford Cardinal safety Jimmy Wyrick. On Monday, On3 learned that Wyrick has opted to enter his name into the upcoming April transfer portal window.

The second NCAA transfer portal window for college football opens officially on April 16.

Wyrick replayed high school football at South Oak Cliff high school located in the Dallas, TX, area. He would be listed as a three-star prospect in the 2021 recruiting class with a nearly 87 grade, according to the On3 Industry Rankings, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. Wyrick was the nation’s No. 642 recruit, ranked 56 among cornerbacks, and was the 96-best player to come out of the state of Texas in his class.
