Syracuse defensive back Bralyn Oliver has entered the NCAA transfer portal, On3 has learned.

Oliver spent three years at Syracuse after transferring in from Louisville following a very brief stint with the Cardinals. He’s had a relatively limited impact on the field so far.

In nine appearances, Oliver has recorded just five tackles.

Prior to enrolling at Louisville and later transferring to Syracuse, Bralyn Oliver was a three-star prospect and the No. 545 overall recruit in the nation in the 2021 recruiting class, according to the On3 Industry Rankings.

He also checked in as the No. 43 safety in the class and the No. 30 overall player from the state of North Carolina, hailing from Cornelius (NC) William Amos Hough.

Bralyn Oliver isn’t the only player with Louisville ties to enter the NCAA transfer portal recently.

Louisville RB Kaden Moorman hits the portal

Louisville running back Kaden Moorman has entered his name into the transfer portal.

Moorman, a Frankfort, Kentucky native, was originally committed to Kentucky out of high school. However, he decommitted from the Wildcats and ended up signing with the Cardinals for his freshman year this past fall.

In total, Moorman had five total carries for 38 yards for the Louisville offense in 2023.

Moorman played high school football at Franklin County. He was a three-star prospect there and the No. 1,199 overall recruit in the 2023 cycle. That’s according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He also rated as the No. 56 ATH in the class and the No. 12 player out of the state.

Moorman came to Louisville as part of the first class for Jeff Brohm with the program.

Now, Moorman is one of the several players who have left the Cardinals in the offseason, including the ones just since the opening of the spring portal window. In total, 23 players have left Louisville in the transfer portal so far this offseason. Multiple have entered just this month with the spring cycle open.
