TCU running back, former FSU transfer, Corey Wren has entered NCAA transfer portal
TCU running back Corey Wren entered the NCAA transfer portal, according to On3’s Pete Nakos. The former Florida State RB came to the Horned Frogs but is back in the portal.
He spent the last two seasons at TCU but seldom saw playing time. He had nine carries for 27 yards in 2023.
Over the course of his career with two schools, Wren has 15 carries for 61 yards.
As a member of the Class of 2020, Wren was a three-star recruit out of New Orleans (La.) John Curtis, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He was the No. 19 overall prospect in the state, the No. 43 running back in the class and the No. 448 overall prospect in the class.
