TCU wide receiver DJ Allen enters NCAA transfer portal

TCU wide receiver DJ Allen has entered the NCAA transfer portal, On3 has learned.

Allen was redshirted in his first season with the Horned Frogs (2022) due to an injury and in 2023 saw action in just three games where he recorded just two catches for 10 yards.

Allen played high school football at Gladewater (TX), where he was a four-star prospect. He was the No. 199 overall recruit in the 2022 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
