According to Brian Dohn of 247Sports, Texas A&M EDGE transfer Fadil Diggs will make two visits over the weekend. First up will be a trip to Tuscaloosa to see Nick Saban and the Alabama Crimson Tide on Dec. 15. The following day will be a bit closer to his Camden, NJ home with the Syracuse Orange.

Diggs played in all 12 games this season and was considered a starter for the Aggies. He wound up recording 36 tackles, 11.0 tackles for loss, four sacks, and six quarterback hurries. Great numbers for somebody coming off the edge in most situations.

There is a connection Diggs has to Syracuse, with current Texas A&M interim head coach Elijah Robinson leaving to take the Orange DC role following the bowl game. He has been looking to stack defensive talent ever since Fran Brown hired him.

As for Alabama, they are potentially replacing both of their EDGE stars following the College Football Playoff. Dallas Turner and Chris Braswell are expected to leave for the 2024 NFL Draft. Diggs would have an opportunity to replace them and get a final year in the SEC.

Diggs played high school football at Camden (NJ) Woodrow Wilson, where he was a four-star prospect. He was the No. 154 overall recruit in the 2020 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Rankings, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
