After entering the NCAA transfer portal, former Texas A&M offensive lineman Remington Strickland has decided to stay in the Lone Star State, committing to TCU on Monday.

Strickland joins the Horned Frogs with two seasons of eligibility remaining in his college career, adding some size to their offensive line standing at 6-foot-4, 300 pounds. He made a career-high nine-game appearances in the most recent 2023 season, earning the Aggies’ Most Improved Offensive Player Award.

He chose TCU over numerous offers that included Baylor, LSU, USC, Tennessee, and Arkansas.

Strickland played high school football at Sugar Land (TX) Fort Bend Christian Academy, where he was a three-star prospect. He was the No. 413 overall recruit in the 2021 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
