Texas A&M Aggies wide receiver Evan Stewart has committed to transfer to the Oregon Ducks.

One of the top wide receiver recruits in the country coming out of high school, Stewart was a key member of the Aggies’ excellent Class of 2022. However, he decided to move on from the program amid a staff turnover following the 2023 season.

In two seasons with the Aggies, Stewart established himself as an excellent wide receiver. Playing in 18 games, Stewart has 91 career receptions for 1,163 yards and six touchdowns. That’s 12.8 yards per reception. However, he was also hampered with a leg injury and only played in eight games during the 2023 season.

Evan Stewart played high school football at Liberty (TX), where he was a five-star prospect. He was the No. 8 overall recruit in the 2022 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Now, Evan Stewart will take his talents to Oregon amid the Ducks’ move to the Big Ten. There, they hope to compete for the College Football Playoff as soon as next season.
