Texas Tech linebacker Jesiah Pierre enters the NCAA transfer portal

Texas Tech linebacker Jesiah Pierre has entered the NCAA transfer portal, On3 has learned.

Pierre enters the transfer portal again after spending the first two years of his college career with Florida. In his three seasons with the Red Raiders, Pierre has made 34 game appearances recording 133 tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss, and 5.0 sacks plus a pass breakup, a fumble recovery, and a forced fumble apiece.

Pierre played high school football at Mount Dora (FL) Mount Dora Christian Academy, where he was a three-star prospect. He was the No. 670 overall recruit in the 2019 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
