Tight end Francis Sherman enters the transfer portal
Tight end Francis Sherman has entered his name into the transfer portal.
Sherman spent this past season at Arkansas after starting his career at Louisville for three seasons. In total, Sherman has appeared in 41 games between the two schools during his four years of college football.
During those games, Sherman has caught five passes for 40 yards and one score. Four of those receptions for 32 of the yards and the touchdown came while with the Cardinals. That left one, eight-yard catch for him this past fall for the Razorbacks in a 48-10 loss to Auburn.
Sherman played high school football at Bay in Bay Village, Ohio. He was an unranked recruit there as a member of the 2020 cycle.
Sherman is now the 25th loss for the ‘Hogs in the portal during this offseason. It’s a group that included some significant names for Arkansas with 14 of those having since committed to new programs.
