Transfer Portal: Ranking the point guards, Top 15 on 4/17

It’s transfer portal season! The college basketball transfer portal is officially in full gear, and On3 is on top of it, attempting to make portal life easier for all involved.

Let’s start with rankings. Everyone loves rankings. Today’s date is April 17, 2022, and the time is 5:30 PM EST. Here are the fifteen best point guards in the transfer portal as of this writing.

1. Grad transfer Kendric Davis (Southern Methodist University)

Kendric Davis is a 5-foot-11, 180-pound point guard. He played his last three seasons at SMU after playing his first year at TCU.

In 2021-22 Davis averaged 19.4 points, 3.8 rebounds, 4.4 assists, and 1.5 steals in 34.6 minutes per game. He shot 43.9-percent from the field, 37.2-percent from three, and 86.8-percent from the free-throw line.

Grant Sherfield is a 6-foot-2, 189-pound point guard. He has been at Nevada for two years after playing his first season at Wichita State.
