Transfer Portal: The top ten players that entered on Tuesday

The college basketball transfer portal opened on Monday, March 18, to start the 45-day window where all men’s college basketball players will be able to enter the transfer portal without penalty. It has been a busy eight days with over 1,000 players submitting their names so far. Almost 100 names were entered today, on March 26.

1. G Malik Mack, Harvard
The Buzz: Malik Mack earned Ivy League Rookie of the Year honors this season. The 6-foot-1 guard averaged 17.2 points, 4.8 assists, and 1.3 steals. Mack, a freshman, is originally from Maryland.
2. F William Kyle, South Dakota State
The Buzz: William Kyle earned Summit League Defensive Player of the Year honors as well as first-team All-Summit and Summit League Tournament MVP. The 6-foot-9 forward averaged 13.1 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks while shooting 62.3 percent from the field. Kyle is a sophomore, originally from Nebraska.
3. G Zeke Mayo, South Dakota State
The Buzz: Zeke Mayo earned Summit League Player of the Year honors. The 6-foot-3 guard averaged 18.8 points and 3.5 assists while shooting 39.1 percent from three. Mayo, a junior, is originally from Lawrence, Kansas.
4. F Tre’Von Spillers, Appalachian State
The Buzz: Tre’Von Spillers earned first-team All-Sun Belt honors. The 6-foot-7 forward averaged 12.8 points. 8.9 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks this season. Spillers is from Charleston, South Carolina. He started his career at South Carolina Salkehatchie.
5. F Saint Thomas, Northern Colorado
The Buzz: Saint Thomas earned first-team All-Big Sky honors. The 6-foot-7 forward averaged 19.7 points, 9.8 rebounds, 4.2 assists, and 1.7 steals this season. Thomas is originally from Nebraska. He started his career at Loyola-Chicago.
6. G Tony Perkins, Iowa
The Buzz: Tony Perkins earned second-team All-Big Ten honors. The 6-foot-4 guard averaged 14.0 points, 4.6 assists, and 1.6 steals this season. Perkins is originally from Indianapolis, Indiana.

The Buzz: Connor Hickman earned third-team All-Missouri Valley as well as All-Missouri Valley Tournament. The 6-foot-3 shooting guard averaged 14.5 points and 2.9 assists while shooting 40.2 percent from three. Hickman is originally from Bloomington, Indiana.
8. G Otega Oweh, Oklahoma
The Buzz: Otega Oweh, a former four-star recruit, started 28 games and played 24.9 minutes for Oklahoma. The 6-foot-5 wing averaged 11.4 points and 1.5 steals while shooting 49.7 percent from the field. Oweh is originally from New Jersey.
9. F David Skogman, Davidson
The Buzz: David Skogman started 17 games for Davidson this season, playing 24.9 minutes. The 6-foot-10 forward averaged 13.3 points and 4.9 rebounds while shooting 47.1 percent from three on 4.0 attempts. Skogman is from Waukesha, Wisconsin. He started his career at Buffalo.
10. G Issac McBride, Oral Roberts
The Buzz: Issac McBride earned second-team All-Summit honors for the second consecutive year. The 6-foot-1 guard averaged 19.8 points and 3.1 assists while shooting 39.4 percent from three. McBride is originally from Little Rock, Arkansas. He started his career at Vanderbilt.
