Transfer Portal: Top 10 basketball players available
The college basketball transfer portal opened on Monday, March 18, to start the 45-day window where all men’s college basketball players will be able to enter the transfer portal without penalty. Over 1,000 players have opted to submit their names and enter across the first nine days.
Below are the top 10 players who are currently in the portal — according to the On3 Industry Ranking — along with the buzz on each from On3 National Basketball Recruiting Analyst Jamie Shaw.

1. C Maxime Raynaud, Stanford
The Buzz: Maxime Raynaud is a 7-foot-1, 235-pound center originally from Paris, France. He earned Most Improved Player honors in the Pac-12 this season after averaging 15.5 points and 9.6 rebounds while shooting 36.1 percent from three. Raynaud is a junior.
2. C Cliff Omoruyi, Rutgers
The Buzz: Cliff Omoruyi is listed as a 6-foot-11, 240-pound center originally from Nigeria. He earned first-team Big Ten All-Defense this season, for the second consecutive year. Omoruyi averaged 10.4 points. 8.3 rebounds, and 2.9 blocks this season. He is a graduate transfer.
