Since the advent of the NCAA Transfer Portal, one of the most commonly sought-after positions among the top teams in college football has been the studs at wide receiver.

A game-changing pass catcher can take a team from good to great. Just look at some of the impact transfers we’ve seen at the position in the past, with players like Jameson Williams and his epic season at Alabama coming to mind.

At the moment, there’s currently a bevy of impact receivers looking for a new home. Here’s the Top 10 wide receivers in the transfer portal at the moment, ranked utilizing the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average, based on their collegiate performance to date

The top wide receiver in the transfer portal at the moment is the former South Carolina wide receiver. He began his career at then-FCS powerhouse James Madison, spending two years with the Dukes before both he and the school jumped the FBS level, except Wells landed at South Carolina.

In his first year with the Gamecocks, Juice Wells produced big time and emerged as the team’s leading receiver by over 400 yards with 928 total along with six touchdowns as Spencer Rattler’s favorite target. However, injuries marred his 2023 season, leading to a meager three catches all year for Wells and he’ll now look at transfer options once again.

2) Caullin Lacy, South Alabama Jaguars
