Travis Hunter will announce commitment when he hits 100k subscribers on YouTube
Travis Hunter is the No. 1 player available in the NCAA transfer portal, with any program in the country wanting his services. Four are currently standing out and the two-way ATH has teased his commitment already.
He took things to the next level on Wednesday afternoon, saying he will announce his next destination if fans can help him out. Hunter wants 100,000 subscribers on YouTube and then he will let the world know where he transfers to.
Just minutes after sending out the tweet, Hunter has seen the channel grow by over 1,000 subscribers. Even so, there is a long way to go as nearly 30,000 would be needed in a short amount of time to make the decision imminent.
Never underestimate the power of social media though, as Hunter continues to grow his platforms and therefore, his $678,000 On3 NIL evaluation. Making a commitment in the near future could help as well, especially if it’s one of the top programs in all of college football.
As a member of the Class of 2022, Hunter was an On3 Consensus Five-star Plus+ prospect out of Suwanee (Ga.) Collins Hill. He was the No. 1 overall prospect in the state, the No. 1 athlete in the class and the No. 2 overall prospect in the class.

Travis Hunter teases fan bases with commitment
Prior to setting a YouTube subscriber goal, Hunter had some fun with fans on Twitter regarding his upcoming decision.
“What fan base want an early Christmas present?” he asked.
Hunter entered the transfer portal after spending his freshman season playing for Deion Sanders at Jackson State. However, after Sanders left to become the next coach at Colorado, Hunter entered the portal on Sunday.
Hunter finished his debut collegiate season with 19 total tackles, 15 solo tackles, eight pass deflections, two interceptions and one defensive touchdown. On offense, he had 18 catches for 190 yards and four touchdowns.
Many believe that Hunter could follow Sanders to Colorado, but there is also one other big contender. Georgia is reported to be making a push for Hunter, while teams such as Miami, Ole Miss, and USC are trying to get in the mix as well.
