Tulane transfer wide receiver Chris Brazzell reveals 38 schools have reached out since entering portal
Tulane transfer wide receiver Chris Brazzell II has been one of the hottest commodities in the nation since he hit the transfer portal on December 4th. He’s heard from 38 schools, according to On3’s Hayes Fawcett. The 6-foot-5, 195-pound wideout hauled in 44 catches for 711 yards and five touchdowns this year. He’ll have three years of eligibility.
One of his best games in the 2023 season came against Florida Atlantic, when he hauled in seven catches for 103 yards and a touchdown.
In the 2022 cycle, Brazell was rated as a three-star prospect and the No. 1,163 overall prospect in the country, according to the On3 Industry Rankings. He played his high school football for Midland Christian (Midland, Texas).
He finished his high school career with 1,596 receiving yards, 21 touchdowns, and 104 catches. Brazzell averaged 15.3 yards per catch during his career.
When he chose Tulane out of high school, he chose them over offers from Florida Atlantic, Austin Peay, New Mexico State, Pittsburgh, and many others.
