Tulsa quarterback Braylon Braxton has entered the NCAA Transfer Portal, per On3’s Pete Nakos.

Braxton spent three seasons at Tulsa, tallying 19 appearances. The redshirt sophomore only played six games this season. He constantly battled an ankle injury, which he suffered in the team’s season opener. When he did play, he struggled.

In the 2023 campaign, Braxton only completed 44% of his passes for 212 yards and two touchdowns. He also threw six interceptions. Despite the subpar season, Braxton has shown off his talents before.

In 2022, Braxton completed 92-of-163 passes for 1,133 yards and 10 touchdowns. Additionally, he ran for 145 yards and five scores. The 6-foot-2 QB finished the season with a stunning 132.6 passer rating. For his efforts, he earned Freshman All-America honorable mention accolades by College Football News.

Braxton only played in four games in his true freshman season before opting to use his redshirt. Braxton also entered the transfer portal last season before deciding to withdraw his name and return to Tulsa.

Braxton played high school football at Independence (TX), where he was a three-star prospect. He was the No. 762 overall recruit in the 2021 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
