UCLA WR Logan Loya plans to enter NCAA transfer portal
UCLA wide receiver Logan Loya plans to enter the NCAA transfer portal, he announced on his Twitter account on Wednesday morning.
Loya is a redshirt senior who recorded 29 catches for 348 yards and four touchdowns this season. So he’s a productive player who will undoubtedly receive plenty of interest from other programs.
“After five amazing seasons I will be entering my name into the transfer portal for my final season of eligibility,” Loya wrote. “I am excited for this next chapter of my journey, and I am proud to leave here as a Bruin for life, walking away with two degrees, countless memories, and relationships I’ll cherish forever.
“Thank you UCLA for EVERYTHING.”
Logan Loya has been a productive five-year player for the Bruins, seeing his production slowly ramp up over the course of his career. His high-water mark came in 2023, when he produced career highs in catches, yardage and touchdowns.
He logged 59 catches for 655 yards and five touchdowns that year. But he found replicating that success harder to come by under first-year coach DeShaun Foster. Still, Loya thanked the coaching staff on his way out.
