USC transfer EDGE Korey Foreman commits to Fresno State
Former USC EDGE Korey Foreman has committed to Fresno State, via the NCAA Transfer Portal.
Foreman played in three games in the 2023 season, recording one total tackle. He opted to use his redshirt this season. He played in 20 games between his freshman and sophomore seasons — accounting for 24 total tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss and an interception.
Foreman battled injuries throughout his career, preventing him from establishing an identity in USC’s defense. Foreman’s best moment with the Trojans was when he snagged an interception against UCLA in 2022 to halt a potential game-winning drive by the Bruins and secure a 48-45 victory.
As a recruit, Korey Foreman was the No. 1 overall prospect in the 2021 class according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He was a Five-Star Plus+ prospect, rated as a five-star recruit by every major recruiting service.
Foreman was listed as the No. 12 EDGE that entered the transfer portal by On3’s Transfer Portal Player Rankings. Further, he was the best EDGE still available in the portal.
