Last season for Villanova, Bamba averaged 10.1 points and 3.6 rebounds per game. He spent the prior three seasons of his collegiate career with the Washington State Cougars.

Perkins played just one season with the Quakers, but was a solid piece to the Ivy League squad. He finished the season with 13.7 points per game, 5.3 rebounds, 1.9 assists, shot 42.5% from the floor and 34.7% from three-point range.
As a member of the Class of 2023, Perkins was not ranked, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He played his HS basketball out of Bethesda (M.D.) Landon School.
