Virginia QB transfer Brennan Armstrong plans to visit Oklahoma State and Wisconsin, sources tell On3.

Armstrong, Virginia’s starting QB the last three years, ranked second nationally in 2021 with an average of 404.5 passing yards per game.

He also finished 2021 with 31 passing touchdowns, nine additional rushing scores and just 10 interceptions while helping the Cavaliers rank third nationally in total offense.

That came after throwing for 2,117 yards and 18 touchdowns with 11 interceptions in nine games in 2020.

Armstrong took a step back this year, however, under new Virginia coach Tony Elliott, posting just 2,210 passing yards and seven passing TDs with 12 interceptions.

Oklahoma State and Wisconsin are both replacing their starting QBs. Oklahoma State’s Spencer Sanders and Wisconsin’s Graham Mertz both recently entered the transfer portal.
