Wake Forest starting receiver Jahmal Banks has entered the NCAA transfer portal, On3 has learned.

Banks caught 59 passes for 653 yards this season, leading the Demon Deacons in both receptions and receiving yards. He also tied for the team lead with four touchdown catches.

Jahmal Banks just finished up his junior season at Wake Forest. He was also extremely productive in 2022, finishing with 42 catches for 636 yards and nine scores.

He was able to top his production this past season, despite losing star quarterback Sam Hartman to Notre Dame.

Banks is surely to have plenty of schools after him as he was extremely productive in the ACC.

Despite Banks having an excellent year, it was a tough season for Wake Forest overall. The Demon Deacons took a big step back without Hartman.

After going 11-3 in 2021 and 8-5 in 2022, Wake Forest dropped to 4-8 this past season. The Demon Deacons will look to have a bounce back year in 2024, but it appears as though they will not have Jahmal Banks on their roster as they try to rebound.
