Washington QB Dylan Morris enters the NCAA Transfer Portal
Washington quarterback Dylan Morris has entered the transfer portal.
Morris spent five seasons with the Huskies, recording 26 total appearances. Behind standout Michael Penix Jr. this year, Morris only played in four games in the 2023 campaign. In his limited minutes, he completed nine passes for 224 yards and a touchdown.
Morris’ most successful season was in 2021 when he started in 11 of Washington’s 12 contests. Morris completed 60.6% of his pass attempts for 2,458 yards and 14 touchdowns. He also threw 12 interceptions that season.
For his efforts, Morris was named an All-Pac-12 honorable mention. While Morris didn’t play as much after his breakout year, he didn’t stop earning the respect of his program. Morris won the Husky Fever 12th Man Award and the Husky Starving Champion Award at the team’s postseason banquet this season.
Morris played high school football at Graham-Kapowsin (WA), where he was a four-star prospect. He was the No. 183 overall recruit in the 2019 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
