West Virginia linebacker Lance Dixon enters NCAA transfer portal

West Virginia linebacker Lance Dixon has entered the NCAA transfer portal, On3 has learned.

Dixon spent the first two seasons of his college career at Penn State where he made 12 game appearances and one start recording 12 tackles and forcing one fumble. He transferred to West Virginia ahead of the 2021 season, and in his three seasons with the Mountaineers recorded 72 tackles and three pass breakups.

Dixon played high school football at West Bloomfield (MI), where he was a four-star prospect. He was the No. 149 overall recruit in the 2019 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
