West Virginia transfer LB Jared Bartlett commits to Cincinnati

Former West Virginia Mountaineers linebacker Jared Bartlett has committed to transfer to the Cincinnati Bearcats.

The defender announced the decision on X (formerly known as Twitter) on Monday, making his move to the fellow Big 12 program official.

Jared Bartlett played high school football at Collins Hill (GA), where he was a three-star prospect. He was the No. 1567 overall recruit in the 2019 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Over his five seasons with the program, Bartlett has amassed 135 total tackles, two passes defensed, 14 sacks and two forced fumbles. He’s been a leader for the Mountaineers, as well.
