Western Kentucky wideout Ze’Vian Capers entered the transfer portal, On3 has learned. He spent three years at Auburn before transferring to spend one year at WKU. Now, he’ll look for another new home.

In his first two years at Auburn, Capers actually wedged his way into the pass catching rotation. He was by no means a consistent target, but he flashed with seven catches and 77 yards as a rookie, playing in ten games that season and then next season. As a sophomore, he recorded 54 yards on six catches. But as a junior, Capers appeared in three total games and caught one pass, ultimately leading to a transfer.

With Western, results weren’t much better, as Capers only played in two games and caught three passes. So now, after four seasons and just one with Western, he’ll look to finish his career elsewhere.

Prior to college, Capers played football for Denmark High School in Alpharetta, Ga., where he was a four-star recruit in the 2020 class, per the On3 Industry Rankings. He was also rated the No. 151 overall prospect and the No. 26 wide receiver for his cycle.
