Tom Kakert has been covering the Iowa Hawkeyes full-time since the spring of 2003, when he began as the publisher of HawkeyeReport.com. In addition to his duties as publisher of the site, Kakert is also the primary beat writer for Iowa football and men’s basketball. He also has a popular podcast, the Hawkeye Report Podcast, and is the host of Iowa Swarm Talk, which is a weekly interview show run by the Iowa Swarm Collective. Kakert and his wife live in Blue Grass, IA with their two children.
