One of the most popular pass-catching targets for college coaches early on in 2024 has been Four-Star 2025 WR Emmanuel Choice from Lancaster (Texas) High School. After a recent update, Choice is now the No. 39-rated wide receiver in the country and a top target for USC.

The 6-foot-4, 190-pound Choice saw his recruitment take shape the past few months with Texas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Tennessee, Florida, Missouri, Ole Miss and USC among the teams entering their names in the race.

After making visits to both Texas and Oklahoma last month, On3’s Sam Spiegelman reported Choice has four more trips squared away for the spring and summer, including his three two official visits. He’s scheduled to get to Texas A&M for a spring football practice on April 13.

The On300 WR will close out the month of April with an official visit up to Nebraska on April 27-29.

Official visits will continue for Choice into June. He will spend the first weekend on the West Coast making an official visit to USC on May 30-June 2 weekend. Choice will hit TCU for an official visit on June 13-15 weekend.

USC and Texas

This past recruiting cycle USC signed four top players from Texas. CB Braylon Conley is from the Houston area, OL Makai Saina is from the Dallas area, RB Bryan Jackson is from the Dallas area and DT Carlon Jones is from Bay City, about 90 minutes southwest of Houston.

Now the Trojans find themselves among the top schools for a fairly large number of 2025 prospects like Choice. Although Choice has yet to visit USC in his recruitment, he’s extremely familiar with the Trojans.
