Well that’s the kid’s side of the story. The college said some of the things he asked for were illegal. Serious question, unless he is the second coming of Tom Brady, who would want this kid now?

I'd add the kid's 'agent' should be working to get him NIL deals - that's what he's for. It's not and never was just 'give me money' - WTF has he done for any of it? You can't be paid to just play. Livvy Dunne doesn't just get paid to be a gymnast; did he make any effort to promote a product or do anything worthy of a payment? No - just wants money.

What was illegal? There are no rules anymore!

It is illegal (or against NCAA rules) to pay players just to play football. There has to be *some* NIL component (promoting products on social media, in-person appearances, etc.) to get the money. I think that is changing with the new ruling, but that's where we are now IIRC.
