Perhaps you haven't noticed the institutional support of rape enablers in Ann Arbor.

Are there any Michigan groups like PS4RS or Alumni BOT members or Conspiracy Theorists like Blehar, Ziegler, Pendergrast and Real Estate Agent Snedden trying to defend Bo? Show me where they are and I'll be happy to look at it.

Nothing. bo knew, Joe didn’t. bo was nowhere near the coach Joe was. Joe was the much better man.

bo’s legacy was bad enough when it was just a mediocre record in a weak conference and crapping the bed in bowl games. Now throw in the cover up that he led for decades, and bo’s legacy is worse than sh|t.

Joe knew too. Bo and Joe were the same type of men.

Joe's isn't much better with years of coaching in the press box oblivious to what was going on and then the children. I wouldn't throw stones in a glass house.

We have a moral obligation to stomp out the toxic, sport-obsessed culture in Ann Arbor that enabled a serial rapist to roam campus free for decades feasting on over 1,000 student-athletes. What if they were your children?

“Remember the children.”

Your sarcasm is inappropriate, but I must ask you if that is your goal why are you in denial about your own school? PS, big difference between children and adults.

Shame on you for not knowing about the scores of boys and minors raped at the University Michigan and for diminishing the significance of rape against a chosen class. Grow up and take your rape-enabling personality back to the UM board.

Shame on you for not knowing about Sandusky's predations that go back to the 1970s! Quit defending pedophiles and their enablers.

Penn State has failed to give John Surma the kind of recognition he deserves. The same for the field hockey stick with pearls.

RECOGNIZING LLOYD CARR

Michigan will recognize Lloyd Carr on the 15th anniversary of him winning the Dodd Trophy, which is given to the “Division I head coach whose team excels on the field, in the classroom and in the community.”
Michigan will also name the Big House tunnel after Carr.
“Lloyd Carr set a high standard as a coach and mentor,” said Michigan athletic director Warde Manuel. “He was a great leader and an example for his players and staff. Lloyd was a teacher as much as he was a football coach, always looking to make a positive impact on the lives of his players. This is a well-deserved recognition for all that Lloyd has accomplished and contributed to this University. We are so happy to honor his impact and legacy at the University of Michigan in this way.”

I listened to a UM podcast previewing the game against Penn State. They were mostly respectful of our team and program, however they just had to mention "something that came to light that we won't talk about" with a smug smirk on their faces.

Excuse me, but but Bo Schembechler's statue continues to stand, even after his own son revealed that Bo punched him in the chest sending him halfway across the room after reporting that he, himself, was sexually abused by Dr. Robert Anderson. We've learned that we're not allowed to question victims because it further perpetuates toxic cultures of child sexual abuse, so we must take him at his word. With that being the case, and later learning that these pedophiles don't operate alone -- they're often "the worst-kept secret" in these communities -- why is it that Lloyd Carr, who worked along side Dr. Robert Anderson for over 20 years in Michigan's athletic department, is not being asked to go on the record about his knowledge and awareness of a scandal that "touched" over 1,000 student-athletes at the University of Michigan and resulted in a $490 million settlement?

Just seems strange to me that UM's priorities are to celebrate their football culture before demanding answers and transparency about the biggest scandal in the history of college sports.

#Bo didn't Know

He also didn't get his dying *** thrown in front of a world shitstorm bus by his own trustees even when it would be easier.

The hypocrisy between everything exposed since and how that was treated is the new normal. Whatever though. They should be forced to give back the money they made off of 1/2 a title in 70 years.

See the link below. From the article:

”The University of Michigan has agreed to a $490 million settlement with hundreds of people who say they were sexually assaulted by a former sports doctor at the school, those involved in the agreement said Wednesday.

Attorney Parker Stinar said that 1,050 people will share in the settlement, which was reached the night before.

University spokesman Rick Fitzgerald confirmed the settlement and said a statement would be released later Wednesday.

"I am proud to announce that a settlement was reached with the 1,050 survivors of Robert Anderson and the University of Michigan," Stinar said. "It has been a long and challenging journey, and I believe this settlement will provide justice and healing for the many brave men and women who refused to be silenced."

The university had been in mediation to resolve multiple lawsuits by mostly men who said Anderson sexually abused them during routine medical examinations. Anderson worked at the university from 1966 until his 2003 retirement and was director of the university's Health Service and a physician for multiple athletic teams, including football.”

Please take this opportunity to remember that Penn State has a culture problem.
Are they banned from bowl games? Fined? Dragged through the media?

Why not?

USC with the side-noted ~$900M for Dr Tyndall’s rapes. Lotsa these problems out there - way more victims at Mich, USC, OSU, Mich State, NW sexual hazing that anything at Penn St.
