Please use this thread to discuss any and all late afternoon and evening college football games played on Oct. 21
I like seeing Iowa lose....and it ain't like this offense is beating MichiganIowa and Illinois both lose late. Crappy day all around.
And they got screwed royally at the end. Worst spot I’ve ever seen.Wow. CV had a nice game for Pitt and lead them to a late TD to make it 17-14 Panthers. Then the Pitt defense imploded and gave up a winning TD to Wake Forest. 21-17. Pitt loss = good. Nice game by CV = good.
At least we aren't MSU.
Just shut their FKN program down already.wtaf? I'd like to think that's photo shopped but it is Michigan State. They haven't been known for exercising good judgement in the past decade or so. What's next? Guessing how many people Jeffrey Dahmer ate??
Anyone see Duke get screwed buy the refs - PSU-style - when they prevented Duke from snapping the ball and allowed Florida State to substitute on 4th and 2 when Duke never subbed anyone out? Duke was lined up, ready to snap the ball, and literally could have walked in from midfield since almost the entire FSU team was running off/on the field. The announcers said they thought the refs assumed Duke was going to bring on their special teams unit to punt, but they didn’t.
Duke eventually punted and couldn’t do anything for the rest of the game after their start QB went down.
As bad as the Duke and PSU losses were, at least they weren’t UNC.
At least we aren't MSU.
What the Hell is in the water in Michigan?![]()

With another example of how selectively the enforcing the rules calls can impact a game, the following link shows what occurred in the 4th quarter of Washington’s late night 15-7 win over 1-win ASU when ASU had a first down deep in UW territory with a 7-6 lead on first down (ASU eventually threw a pick 6 on 4th down):
ASU also missed 2 FGs in this game.
