Of course he's not going to argue about the "excuses." He knows as well as the rest of us that they are facts. I really don't even like the term "excuses" because that implies that we couldn't have won any of those games, when I think we could have won 3 of them (nobody was going to beat Xavier that day). But the fact we lost 3 close games to 3 damn good teams doesn't mean Stans is a bad coach. Hell, if Zimmerman or Iggy even hit the occasional wide open 12-foot jump shot against Butler we'd have won that game easily. I don't know what more a coach can do offensively than run sets to get his players wide open shots.
