Time to switch our focus to Team USA. Three massive matches coming up during the break. Didn’t like seeing this yesterday. It’s Westin out, then need Aronson. One of the few I trust with the ball to split defenders.

Also, Tom, if you have a USMNT team thread, let me know and I won’t litter this one.

Halftime: Leicester 2, Brentford 0

Castagne and Maddison with the goals.

Brentford strike back, albeit late.

Leicester 2, Brentford 1, 86th minute.

Wissa with the strike for Brentford.

West Ham own goal in the 9th minute. Kane looking for Son. 1-0, Spurs.

For the record, I did not include these tweets in my posts. Someone else did some editing. 🙄

Personally, I prefer having this one thread. It’s just me, though.

You're a Neshaminy alum, so I'd expect that kind of a response. ;)

The Premier League thread has been a constant over the years. In World Cup years, we've had a separate thread for that. We've been a little inconsistent with the USMNT, in that there have been game threads, and frustration threads, etc. Now there's the USMNT qualifying thread, and there will be a separate World Cup thread. Similarly, there is a USWNT thread after not having a consistent approach with them.

Next season, I think I'm going to start a separate Champions League thread to keep those posts out of the Premier League thread.

So, NBC/NBC sports is not showing games anymore? Not sure how I missed that. I know that they have been moving games to Peacock, but thought they were still showing some marquee matchups on NBC.

Fabinho scores on a penalty kick to put Liverpool up, 2-0, in the 90th minute. Ridiculous penalty by Watford, tackling Jota in the box on a Liverpool corner.

Chelsea v. Brentford on USA. Ruediger with a bomb for Chelsea in the 48th minute to take a 1-0 lead.

Rudy! Rudy! Rudy! Rudy! o_O

Moments later, Brentford get behind the Chelsea defense and tie it up. Janelt. 1-1 now in the 52nd minute.
