Pomeroy gives us an 11.5% chance of it.Can win the next 4 before playing Illinois and rutgres. May be able to get over 500 before the tournament...
We will be a small underdog at Maryland on MondayWe will be favored in 3 of the last 5 games. If we can win those 3 and pull 1 upset we'll finish .500 in B1G play. This team is playing good ball at the right time.
We have to finish .500 in order to be considered for an NIT bid. Would consider an NIT bid to be a successful end of the season. We will be favored in 3 of the last 5 games. If we can win those 3 and pull 1 upset we'll finish .500 in B1G play. This team is playing good ball at the right time.

That’s incorrect…once upon a time, you had to be .500. However, that isn’t a requirement today. No, if you don’t have a.500 or above record then you need a waiver to get on the ballot.
It does appear that this changed in 2017. I did just read an article about the penn states chance at 2022 NIT that said you had to be .500, and when you challenged my comment I found that Wikipedia said you need to be .500.That’s incorrect…once upon a time, you had to be .500. I can state with absolute certainty that a .500 record is not a requirement. However, as a practical matter, if you are below .500 your chances of being selected to the NIT are virtually zero.It does appear that this changed in 2017.
