Nottingham Forest 0-0 West Ham United at 16’. When Forest scores their first Premier League goal in 23 years, the place is going to explode. Fun match, a few nice chances for both sides.

Chelsea -Tottenham kicking off momentarily. The first big-balls match of the season.

I’ll be at the gym, will watch the second half on the treadmill. (As a reminder, this is a go-to life hack of mine; now that I’ve put this out, I’m definitely going to the gym RIGHT FREAKING NOW.)

Tuchel is an a**hat and a poor sport, getting angry with Conte after the game. Hahaha Chelsea thought they had one, not to be!!

Caught the last 30 minutes plus stoppage time, three goals, 2.5 miles. Time well spent.

Boy, there was some bad blood out there today.

Makes the Gus Fring-Salamanca Family war seem like a middle-school spat.

Tottenham could be charged with theft over taking that point today. Just outmatched so much of the day, seemingly incapable of breaking the pressure Chelsea was putting on them, constantly turning it over. But a point on the road at the bridge is a point, and I’ll take it.

Halftime: Liverpool 0, Crystal Palace 1

Zaha.

Liverpool lured themselves to sleep. They thoroughly controlled possession, but Zaha snuck behind the Reds’ defense and put one by Alisson. Nice goal.

Liverpool now has yielded the first goal in six consecutive Premier League matches. They haven’t lost any of the first five.

Darwin Nunez sent off with a red card. Liverpool down 1-0 and down a man in the 58th minute.

😞

Final: Liverpool 1, Crystal Palace 1

I’ll take it under the circumstances.

OMFG, Luis Diaz!

that would be a great shot/goal if he received the pass where he shot it. That he dribbled through/across the defense, along the penalty line, makes it an amazing goal. The objective of every one of the defenders he encountered is to keep the ball from ever getting to their GK, and each of them failed miserably.

Chris Richards made his Premier League debut. Won a few duals in the air and was not too far off from having an assist as he headed down a corner kick to a teammate.
